*NEW* Christmas Shopping Valet Service

Cork City’s Shop ‘N’ Drop Christmas Shopping Valet Service operates at 1-2 Cook Street (previously Specsavers). The service, led by Breakthrough Cancer Research and supporte

d by the Cork City Centre Forum, will assist shoppers in navigating the Christmas rush giving shoppers the opportunity to enjoy all the City has to offer during the festive season at their ease.. The se

rvice will be donation driven, with all funds raised going to fund the work of Breakthrough Cancer Research.

The Shop ‘N’ Drop service open from Saturday 8th December until Sunday December 23rd from 11-7pm Monday to Saturday.

The Sunday service will open from 12 – 5pm.

CHRISTMAS LATE NIGHT BUS SERVICES

Bus Éireann will operate late night services this Christmas from Cork to Ballincollig, Blarney, Carrigaline & Midleton, each Friday & Saturday night, from Friday, 7 December until Saturday, 22 December 2018.

These special Christmas services will depart each night at 01.00, 02.00 & 03.00 from St. Patrick Street, Cork City and will operate as follows:

Route 215: St Patrick Street (Easons) – Blackpool – Churchfield – Farranree – Killeens – Blarney – Cloghroe

Route 220: St Patrick Street (Brown Thomas) – Douglas East Village – Maryborough Hill – Carrigaline

Route 220: St Patrick Street (Debenhams) – Bishopstown Road – Curraheen Road – Melbourne Road – Ballincollig

Route 261: St Patrick Street (Savoy) – Dillons Cross – Mayfield – Glanmire – Glounthaune – Carrigtwohill – Midleton

Regular fares apply and Department of Social Protection passes will be accepted.

Park & Ride

Black Ash Park & Ride

The Black Ash Park & Ride is located just off the Kinsale Road Roundabout. It has over 940 spaces.  Buses leave every 10 mins at peak times, the final stop is at Lapps Quay in the City Centre.

Monday to Wednesday normal hours of 07:00 – 20:30

Open Sundays from 11:00 – 20:30 (November 18th – December 30th )

Late Openings Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 07:00 – 22:00. Last bus leaving the city at 21:30 (November 22nd – January 5th)

 

Normal charge of €5 applies at all times (includes parking & bus fare)

The Black Ash bus  serves the following stops:

  • Eglinton Street (City Hall)
  • Merchant’s Quay (Dunnes Stores)
  • St. Patrick’s Street (Marks & Spencers)
  • St. Patrick’s Street (Princes St. Junction/Game Stop)
  • Grand Parade (Casey’s Furniture)
  • South Mall (VHI House)
  • Anglesea Street (Cork City Hall)

Last bus departs Sheares Street @ 20:30
